I request you to kindly share your views over this approach, whether i am on the right track or if missing something?

Hey Abhishek

You have a lot of good stuff to showcase in your profile, but because you are a male from the IT sector, you'll have to get some X-factor to out shine the many applicants in your category. First of all, please try to get a GMAT score of above 720. The average GMAT for ISB is 710 but in your category it goes really high. You'll probably need some more work-ex. If you wish to continue working in your current business, then have a very clear reason as to why you need an MBA and what value would it add to your profile. An MBA in Operations management would be great for you but only after getting more work-ex. With your current work-ex you can target their YLP program, which is also very good. Also make sure you have some good hobbies and extracurricular activities (beyond work).

Good luck!
