What is the value of x?

Hi Bunuel, cann't it be solved by the following approach?
Statement 1:
6-3x=x-2
X=2
Again,
-(6-3x)=x-2
ie -6+3x=x-2
X= 2
Similar solution from in both scenario. Hence sufficient.
Statement 2:
Similar process and we will get x= 12/7 and 2. Two different solutions. hence Insufficient.
