A 680 GMAT should be enough to get you into the 80% range of your target schools which would allow you to leverage your cultural experience (Russia is under-represented in b-schools in the US). Keep in mind, that you might be compared to other Russian applicants, and some of them will have 700+ GMAT scores, so try to focus on the unique business experience you have which sets you apart. Certainly leading a team of employees will be unique and your 8 years of experience in the same field has given you a perspective which can be valuable in the classroom. You might also consider EMBA programs, which are designed for people with an international perspective and 8+ years of work experience. These programs are often less worried about your GMAT score and more interested in what you have achieved professionally. In your case, you would likely be competitive at these programs too.
