Re: Profile evaluation for MBA

Hi there, Tanisha95. It seems a little early to give you a target list, since you don't have a firm GMAT score and your goals (and current role) are a little undefined - product management, consulting and finance are not interchangeable, so to find programs that are a great fit, you'll want to do some further research on your future plans. MBAs are professional programs without tons of time to explore--especially when they are one year long-- so both your past experience and your future direction are very important. A lot of what you've described above refers to things you did in college, but your more recent work history and community involvement will be even more important than the things you did years ago. A 700-720 is a good score that seems in range for many programs but keep in mind that a lot of the big European schools (INSEAD, LBS, etc.) look for more than just a GMAT. I like your promotion, and that's a good sign, but you might be a little on the young side, so when you look at different schools' student profiles, don't just check their GMAT and GPA, but look at average work experience too. Some may have lower averages or wider ranges than others. Good luck!
