I am planning on taking my GMAT-test in the beginning of next January. Thus, I have quite a lot of time for preparation. Rather than planning the number of hrs, split the topics. Say, I will cover these 2 topics in this week and then these two the next week. Also, try to go into as much detail as possible on the topics and practice as many questions as you can. Take about 2-3 months to thoroughly review every topic. Then take a couple of mocks and figure out the weak areas. Re-do those topics and then take a couple of mocks again and so on...
