If we talk about ROI, MSTM graduates can get an immediate return on investment, considering the alumni receive, on average, compensation packages of $65,000+ and the tuition fee is nearly half of the average compensation package.
Also, the program at UIUC is customizable, which is an option that you wont get at NWU.
In my opinion, UIUC is a better investment if you want a quick ROI and if you do not have financial constraints then Northwestern is an equally good option.
