Hey hotshot2 - not sure who "everyone" is but we'll give you a few comments.

Operations is a good career choice and there's somewhat fewer people interested in that so it's easier to stand out. The first statement you provided as "reason for the MBA" is not nearly enough to go on for an application, you need to develop a concrete set of career goals to present to the schools or you will frankly have little chance of admission at any good program. It's also hard to see how you're a fit to an ops program when you're currently a front-end programmer but it's up to you to make that pitch.

We sort of need to know a GMAT score before we can offer anything substantive about school choice etc but the schools you've named definitely look at the whole package and are open to a range of profiles, so they could be good targets for a variety of GMAT scores - but the score does matter, obviously. So we can't do much more for you without knowing that.

Your college experiences matter in the context of the MBA applications but activities and awards from lower schools do not; don't even bother mentioning them, they're irrelevant at this point (sorry!). There's only a very few exceptions to that and we're not seeing them in what you've shared of your profile.

Much of your background looks very standard compared to so many others we see so you'll need to dig into your experiences and show how you're differentiated and where your leadership experience is coming from to highlight to the adcoms. Please don't take offense by that, there's just a lot of people "like you" applying.

Sorry to be so negative! If you're motivated and committed to this then you will most definitely end up at a great business school but there's also a lot of challenges ahead. You've come to the right place in terms of resources available here on GMAT Club and good luck with all of it!!!
