Thank you for your posting.
As you know, you are part of a very competitive demographic where the actual acceptance rate is significantly below the stated acceptance rates at all of your targeted schools. Also realize that you are applying to very competitive programs where all of your fellow candidates are highly motivated and extremely dedicated to the same goal that you have - admissions to one of these programs. Simply put, you are competing against the world's best so you have to present yourself as such.
Your list of schools is interesting. I normally would not recommend that you apply to HBS, but given that you have a legacy status here, this may help you somewhat. ?The other American schools are very competitive and you just need to realize that admissions is very difficult. I am not saying to give up on your goal, but just be realistic and invest the time, energy and resources you need to submit a top quality application. There are a few other schools that I really like and think you should look into -- including Johnson and Darden.
As Insead and ISB -- both of these schools are also very competitive - but a bit easier for Indian candidates to get into. Our Admissions Director is very knowledgeable about ISB and I recommend that you contact him and request a candidacy assessment. He can definitely provide some great insight into this and other programs for you.
Good luck.
