profile evaluation- Indian Male (Based in US) 29

I am a 29 year old male , I will really appreciate your feedback of the following questions

- (a) My chances in my target schools
- (b) Recommended schools, based on my background and interest

******* Background

Basic Biographical information:
- 29 year old Indian male
- Originally from New Delhi India, however spent last 10 years away from 'home'
- Currently based out of small midwestern town, working for a major Fortune 500 company for last 6 years
- Been in the US for last 8 years, also posses a masters degree in Industrial engg ( top US program- Penn State)


GMAT Score: 710 ( M 48 V 40)

Work Experience: ~6 years of supply chain exp in an Indiana based forture 500 company ( based out of small town america)

Role-1 2.5 years (mature business unit)
*** Worked in the supplier quality role, responsible for quality account for critical tech components,learnt and executed six sigma quality methods.

Role -2 - 1.5 years (new business unit - Purchasing manager -US ONLY)
***Responsible for making strategic sourcing decisions for a $80 M/ yr commodity spend
*** Negotiated and executed multi million dollar contracts

Role -3- 1.7 years ( New business unit- Purchasing manager- GLOBAL)
*** Responsible for making strategic sourcing decisions for WW applications.
*** Responsible for ~ $100/ yr global spend
*** Been involved / responsible for make v/s buy decisions, post M&A activities
*** Role requires global interface, since both supplier and customers are located outside continental america.

Academic background:
undergraduate Engg: Top Private university in India -2005 graduate - industrial Engg 2.82 CGPA
*** Horrible performance in Freshman and Junior yr, turnaround by stellar Performance in Sophomore and senior yr ( last 4 sems avg- 3.6 GPA)
*** last 2 years, ranked amound top 3 ( top 5%) of the class.

Graduate school: Top public univeristy- top 3 industrial engg program in US ( Penn State)
*** GPA 3.2 ( Low point in last several years)

Extracurricular experience
*** Regular marathon runner, raise money for causes close to my heart
*** Community involvement leader for my work site.

Long term and Short term goals:
*** ST: Obtain MBA to (a) hit reset button in my career journey (b) Enhance by prof qualifications (c) get involved in the next big thing
*** LT: Shape my self as a global leader and assume leadership roles in Asia ( particularly India)
*** MBA is the last stop in the US leg of my life journey

Target Schools (and why)

USA- Harvard(father went to HBS)
Kellog (Great general management & Strategy school)
Booth(Great general management school) and
Columbia (great school... my wife wants to move back to NY!)
(These are clearly anyone's dream school, but should I target them?)

International:
Indian School of Business( Great Indian MBA schook, meshes with my long term India plan)
INSEAD (great global MBA program, aligns with my long term plan to develop as an executive rich in global exp.)
