4.) Significant College Exp
Internship working on small-mid sized international project financing transactions. Worked on feasibility studies and presentations to secure financing ranging from 20-50mm (renewable energy and hospitality deals)
Worked abroad for one month (in country whose language I studied), helping a new startup implement marketing strategies to increase sales of products. Assisted in planning of logistics to efficiently transport products in a developing market with limited transportation and shipping options.
Fraternity Social Chair-Managed budget of roughly $20k.
Worked for Law School and Office of the General Council part time. Also tutored high school student for all four years.
Investors club, Entrepreneur Club, Multiple Language Clubs
Target Schools:
Wharton (specifically Lauder Program), Columbia, Stern, Ross
Double legacy at UPenn (Father WG, Mother BBA and Penn Grad School)
Aspirations post-MBA: Go back into international project finance to facilitate deals in emerging and developing markets. My father does this for a living, although I am not certain I am going to work there post-grad. Looking to add a much greater international focus to my career (very limited at this point in time), hence why Lauder is my first choice. I am a heritage speaker in the language program for which I am applying, so I should have an adequate skill level for their OPI interview.
