I'm almost half way through the Manhattan GMAT guides. I have done most of the questions in the them, some from the Verbal review, and none from the OG13. I have yet to take any CAT exams. I really want to know what range I would stand.

My verbal is extremely strong. Out of all the problems I've done, I've maybe missed a handful. This is in regards only to CR and RC. Have yet to tackle SC.

My quant, on the other hand, is brutal. I got the basics down, but when it comes to some of the more difficult algebra I hit a brick wall. My word problems are even worse. I slip up on the wording and the concepts and find myself attempting problems from the wrong angle. I haven't even gotten to geometry and number properties.

I'm similar to you. Verbal is quite high, haven't really done any prep for it and scoring around 96th percentile. Quant is much lower, around 58th percentile. The MGMAT guides are great. I wish I'd taken my full practice (GMAT Prep) exam earlier, as it was reassuring. I got a 680 and have some time to tune up my work before my test. I'd say take it ASAP, you will learn a lot!
