  • Have mentored and trained several new-joiners to shape up their respective careers
  • Supported in Business Development through new product creation

Extra Curricular
  • During college have conducted several events for college festivals
  • a few more similar things during post-college

Targeting
  • R1 or R2 for 2014 fall intake

Target Colleges
  • Georgetown
  • Indiana: Kelley
  • Broad: Michigan State
  • Tepper
  • Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Post MBA Goal
  • To enter into strategic planning for a procurement of indirect materials
  • Basically climb up the ladder in category management

I am confused whether to give another attempt at GMAT or not, primarily because I never scored this low in verbal during my mocks and low verbal might give a negative impression on the ad coms.


I share your concern about your verbal score. Especially since you were doing consistently better on practice exams, I think you should retakeand focus on the verbal. It's possible you could get into at least some of your target programs with your current score, but your chances will be so much better if you improve that verbal.
