Just got back from sitting for the EA. Scored 156 (IR:12, V:13, Q:11). A little disappointed by the score (was shooting for 160+) but won't retake as I considered this exam to be the perfect storm of weaker areas for me (I.e. more SC than CR or RC).I used a slightly modified version of the Manhattan Prep strategy for IR (skipped my weak question types) ended up with enough time to circle back and get them right.
The full practice set offered by GMAC was an excellent primer on the exam itself. I used Magoosh and Manhattan Stategy guides as well (and og). Still on the fence about taking the actual GMAT (would certainly need to spend a ton more time on quant to get that score up).
Despite being relatively new, seems (from reading here) 150+ is a decent score I'll reach out to some adcoms for their thoughts as well. Anyone have any idea about the significance of various scores?
