Best time to write GMAT for applying in Round 2.

Please help me with advises on when to take GMAT for round 2. I am Indian and i am preparing for next august 2014, so please advise me wat would be the correct time for me to take the Exam. Only after taking the GMAT i have to prepare the Profile and other formalities. First thing is to do my GMAT well.
