Yeah, I agree. I think you should retake the GMAT if those are the only schools on the list. I know it's probably going to go down to the wire if you go this route, but improving verbal is a lot easier for a native speaker than improving quant (which you don't need to improve at all; it's great). Half the class at HBS, for example, has a score over 730. Obviously, half the class has below a 730 as well. But keep in mind that a large percentage of the lower GMAT scorers are "unique" - meaning they are from some under represented category whether it be nationalitiy, industry, etc. Or they invented something or started a big company.
